LSRPs to perform investigations - The Licensed Site Remediation Professionals (LSRP) program which became effective on November 3, 2009 relies on environmental consultants approved as LSRPs to perform investigations and remediation without pre-approval from the NJDEP. The program is intended to streamline the investigation and remediation of contaminated sites.

ECI offers a full range of remediation services from simple soil excavation to the design and implementation of complex DNAPL recovery systems and groundwater remediation projects.  Our professional geologists and project managers have the training, experience and expertise to evaluate, select and implement the most appropriate approach for your site.   We have completed a large variety of projects from simple tank spill removals to complex multi-million dollar Superfund cleanups.  The following provides a list of some of the remediation measures available for most sites, depending on site contaminants, geology and other site conditions:

  • Air Sparging;
  • Bioremediation & Natural Remediation /Natural Attenuation
  • Bioventing;
  • Chemical Stabilization;
  • Enhanced Bioremediation using Oxygen Releasing Compounds (ORC);
  • Enhanced Bioremediation using Hydrogen Releasing Compounds (HRC);
  • Excavation & Disposal;
  • Ex-Situ Treatment and/or Stabilization.
  • In-Situ Chemical Oxidation (ISCO);
  • Multiphase Extraction (MPE)/DNAPL Recovery Systems;
  • Pytoremediation;
  • Soil Vapor Extraction (SVE);
  • Soil Blending

The key to any remedial project, regardless of size, is a complete understanding of the site/geologic conditions and limiting factors and how these factors will impact the efficacy of the selected remedial technology.  ECI will develop a site specific Remedial Action Workplan (RAW) for your site designed to meet cleanup objectives by applying the most appropriate and cost effective remedial technologies.
